The second plank of Develops strategy centres on the provision of underground mining services. As part of this, Develop has agreements to provide underground mining services to:

Kickstart your career in mining with the DEVELOP Career Mining Program – a comprehensive, hands on development pathway for graduates. Designed to build technical expertise and leadership capability, the program blends practical experience across key operational areas with a tailored professional development phase.
Over 3 to 5 years, graduates gain exposure to real-world challenges, rotate through core business functions, and work closely with mentors to sharpen their skills.
Whether you’re troubleshooting metallurgical processes, contributing to geological exploration and development, or stepping into underground operations and supervision, each path offers the flexibility to fast-track progression based on your strengths and business needs.
With the opportunity to pursue statutory certifications and leadership roles, the program equips you to become a future Department Manager or Technical Expert.

- Our vacation program commences each November through to February in line with respective vacation breaks (up to 12 weeks)
- Paid placement – You will join the team as a casual to gain practical work experience during your vacation break
- Available for all students studying in Mining Engineering, Survey, Geology, Metallurgy and Environment Science
